This year Maddie tricked and treated by herself...she walked to every door...she held her pumpkin...she helped everyone put the candy in her bucket...she amazed me...who would have thought that Halloween would be so great...Maddie is very independent...and knew exactly what to do...she climbed stairs...she smiled...she talked...she did it...this was another important milestone for Maddie...yeah for each year that my Maddie grows a bit, learns a bit, and eats a bit!
Are you not the proudest mommy in the world beaming ear to ear watching that little girl be so independent? Nobody, unless they have walked our shoes, can understand that absolute feeling of joy we have in watching moments like these. Yeah for Maddie! That Ewok costume is so cute. She rocked it out, as did her brother the dinosaur (couldn't spell the fancy word for what kind he was!)...still eating candy myself too and cannot stop! :)
Oh, WOW, Maddie is just moving right along!!! I can't believe she's so comfortable on steps and rocks and other uneven surfaces already (Sammi still isn't all the time)! Awesome! Yay for Halloween!!! :-)
OMG, such cute pictures! Way to go, Maddie, with a successful first trick or treating experience!!

ReplyDeleteWoo hoo for a fun Halloween! We didn't do the trick or treating this year, but I'm excited to give it a try next year.
