He kind of just swishes it around and then swallows. So that makes it hard to find food he can actually eat. So I hear ya, feeding time is not my favorite either :(JChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16040699928110444013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3825000868976601610.post-66264678424486440112011-07-11T19:25:44.897-07:002011-07-11T19:25:44.897-07:00I am so glad you have a place to come to and vent....I am so glad you have a place to come to and vent...blogs can be so therapeutic. I cannot imagine what you are feeling because we did not have feeding issues...other issues...but not feeding. Sounds like you are trying everything so keep up the good work. I've never had the exact problem you are talking about, but getting my daughter to eat has been a constant struggle since she was born. I feel for you and want you to know you are not alone. {{{hugs}}}Melhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11148983594692927783noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3825000868976601610.post-36750391810639682442011-07-11T15:24:02.545-07:002011-07-11T15:24:02.545-07:00The teeth thing was the main reason we were so ski...The teeth thing was the main reason we were so skittish about feeding Samantha chunky solids - she didn't chew. Still not sure if it was because we were so cautious that she didn't chew (no need to since we were giving her mush because we were paranoid), or if she wouldn't have chewed anyway and we did what we had to do. Ugh, hopefully your feeding issues will resolve themselves! Ours finally did, and I am soooooo grateful that we can now go anywhere we want without having to take nearly a whole fridge-full of *her* food with us to be sure we'd have something she could eat. And I still want to know how my child could be so good at spitting food out but can't grasp the concept yet of spitting out her toothpaste. I consider myself very fortunate and lucky that we haven't had too many feeding issues, I'm pretty sure it would throw me over the edge!

I hope that those teeth decide to make their way out soon and that it helps with some of the issues! Have you been to a pediatric dentist? Maybe they can do x-rays to see what's going on in there? Chin up, this too shall pass! :)Wrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12859270873501744398noreply@blogger.com
